Go the F*** to Sleep

That feeling when I’m finally ready to go to sleep and I turn off the lights and then my brain says: “I wonder if the superficial similarities in the speech patterns of Randall Munroe and Elon Musk are indicative of underlying cognitive similarities and could one look for further evidence of those similarities or lack thereof by analyzing the writing of both men and is there even enough publicly available writing by Elon Musk to analyze and if there is, is any of it ghost written and is there an existing body of scientific literature concerned with correlating elements of writing style with types of cognitive abilities and if such a body of literature exists, does it have a plausibly sound methodology or is it just speculative quackery and why am I going down this speech pattern and writing rabbit hole when there are plenty of interviews of both of them thinking up answers to difficult scientific questions on the spot and wouldn’t analyzing the paths taken to get to those answers be a much better way to look for cognitive similarities and is there an existing taxonomical structure for dissecting and classifying different types of problem solving and how much of their respective problem solving styles could be quantified in a way that would make it relevant to look for statistical correlations between them and I wish my wife were awake because she probably knows more than I do about at least half the things that I’m thinking about and... NO! BAD BRAIN! GO THE F&$@ TO SLEEP!”
